TRBEXA R Series
R Series
100% electric racing karts. R1, R2 and R3 are in development on the same TRBEXA POWER battery and controller platform as the D1 — with much more of everything. None of them are for sale yet.
Design study. Not a production vehicle — the R Series is still in development.
| Model | Target top speed | Class | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| R1 Sport | 120 km/h | Club racing | In development |
| R2 Pro | 140 km/h | National series | In development |
| R3 Max | 160 km/h | Open class | In development |
Every speed above is an engineering target, not a measured or homologated figure. The 120–160 km/h band is high risk and will not be published as a selling point until our test department signs off the conditions, the braking data and the venue requirements.
What changes from D to R
The D Series is tuned to lose grip on purpose. The R Series is tuned to keep it at speeds the D Series never sees. Same cell chemistry, same controller family — a different chassis, a different map and a much stricter approach to brakes and aero.
Chassis. A wider track and a longer wheelbase, with the frame and kingpin geometry reworked for cornering loads at 120 km/h and above.
Brakes. Bigger discs, a second hydraulic circuit and a pedal box that survives a 20-minute race distance without fade.
Powertrain. Higher continuous power from the same 72 V architecture, with thermal management designed around sustained race use rather than a drift session.
What we can tell you today
We would rather publish nothing than publish a number the test department has not signed. Here is the position as it stands:
— R1, R2 and R3 exist as engineering programmes, not as products.
— Target speeds are 120, 140 and 160 km/h. Treat them as targets.
— The drivetrain is the TRBEXA POWER 72 V platform used in the D1.
— Pricing, lead time and homologation depend on the market.
— Teams that register interest hear first, and hear it before any public release.
If you are a team, a series organiser or a dealer who needs the R Series dossier, register below and we will send it when the first cars are released.
